The Role
Broadspectrum is currently looking to engage a Team Leader for the NCSS contract to manage the Wagga Wagga store. The Team Leader ensures that all elements of the NCSS contract within the base are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements and appropriate Defence and Broadspectrum Services Policy.

Primary Responsibilities

  • In this role you will be responsible for providing support and supervision of up to four employees. Including, but not limited to the provision of site inductions, on-the-job training, task allocation and managing staff rosters.
  • You will be required to apply judgement, initiative and flexibility to resolve problems and challenges within the designated area of responsibility. At times you will be performing work without supervision either individually or in a team environment.
  • A high standard of interpersonal and communication skills is required to effectively lead and co-ordinate all operational aspects of the store.
  • The successful applicant will preferably have a developed and applied knowledge of Defence related logistic policies to conduct internal governance and audits. With an ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and regulations of the contract.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience 

  • Experience within Defence sector (highly regarded)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasking and time, and to deliver a value for money seamless service
  • Experience in performance management and reporting
  • An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
  •  Demonstrated written communication and IT skills
