The Role
Due to continued growth and Broadspectrums ongoing commitment to its investment in people we are currently looking to engage a HSE Graduate to join our Resources West business. This position will see you work across a multitude of contracts and industry’s as well as giving you exposure to all elements of the HSE function.
You’ll work alongside operational staff to support the development and application of our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) system while contributing to our high-performance culture. You will be involved in developing and implementing projects across various contracts to support the HSE function whilst gaining invaluable experience as a HSE professional.  You will also review the HSE performance of projects/contracts and advise on best practises aligned with Broadspectrums Values.

To be successful in this position you will: 

  • Have graduated in 2018/19
  • Hold Tertiary HSE qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Science (HSE) or Post Graduate studies with a related Bachelor’s degree).
  • Demonstrated commitment to an incident and injury free workplace.
  • Passion and energy for HSE performance in business and the engagement of people
  • Drive and enhance the HSE culture and performance through the development and implementation of HSE, systems, behaviours, initiatives, projects, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
  • Interested in gaining knowledge and open to learning from new experiences and challenges
  • Be open to new ideas and able to adjust to changing circumstances
  • Current C Class Driver’s License
  • Willingness for regular, short term and remote site travel across our operational contracts
