The Role

Due to the recent award of a long term contract with BP Kwinana, Broadspectrum are currently looking to engage a qualified & experienced Project Lead to oversee the delivery and execution of all major Brownfield projects. To be successful in application you must be able to demonstrate experience working in a similar role and have experience in managing projects, teams and the commercials associated with large oil & gas projects. This is a full-time permanent role will see you located at BP Kwinana


  • Relevant Trade Certificate
  • Cert IV Leadership & Management – Highly Regarded  
  • Tertiary education in Project Management (Preferred but not essential).
  • Demonstrated experience managing maintenance contracts
  • WA Driver’s License
  • Understanding of ERP systems & Project Controls
  • Ability to pass full pre-employment medical

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated Management and Organisational Skills.
  • Experience in Construction/Project/Shutdown Operations related with Petro-Chemical, Oil & Gas Industry Sector.
  • Ability to schedule, forecast and resource work scopes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams & subcontractors.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel & ERP systems.
  • Tertiary education in Project Management (Preferred but not essential).
  • Have an understanding of workplace HR/IR issues & management. 
  • An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a Project/Construction/Shutdown environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting tasks and work fronts.
  • Be able to promote continuous improvement & cost savings.
  • Demonstrate prior experience leading multi discipline teams.
