Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager the objective of this role is to perform Finance & Administration (F&A) activities across allocated contracts.


The person we are looking for will have:


Key Experience & Skills:

  • Relevant experience across F&A activities comprising of: Purchasing, Payroll, Costing and Billing, financial reporting and operational administration
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
  • Demonstrated written communication and IT skills.
  • An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.


Key Deliverables:

  • Support and promote the culture of sharing workload and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively within the F&A team
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset
  • Contribute to high performing and collaborative teams



  • Sound IT skills (SAP, Microsoft package, similar software package)
  • Effective time management skills incorporating work activity planning and prioritisation
  • Compliance and risk awareness skills


Personal/Professional Attributes:

  • Maintain good working relationships with Contract/Business Unit Managers, on-site personnel, client stakeholders and suppliers
  • Be achievement orientated, well disciplined, task focussed with a strong sense of timeliness


  • Broadspectrum experience across different Service Lines
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a geographically dispersed team
  • An Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with multiple operational managers and support function representatives

Special conditions

  • Must have a valid passport that does not expire for at least the next 6-12 month


NB: This is a 6 Month Maternity Leave Cover, there is potential for other opportunities within the business.  The role is based in Newcastle, however, we are open to the role being based in North Sydney (Head Office) or Parramatta.
