The Role
Due to the continued growth on our long term maintenance contract TRACE JV is seeking a Coating Inspection Engineer for a fixed term salaried position. The role will see you responsible for providing leadership, direction and support for the execution of maintenance activities. To be successful in this position you’ll utilise your previous experience, preferably within an operational processing plant. This role will see you working a 10 hour day, Monday to Friday and will see you living local to Darwin.

Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the position may include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating mechanical maintenance activities in accordance with client procedures and standards, through the implementation of maintenance execution plans.
  • Identifying campaign risk, and subsequent development and implementation of suitable mitigation strategies
  • Work pack development and resourcing work orders
  • Development of procurement and contract plans specific for activities
  • Cost management, planning and reporting as required
  • Accountable for the execution of Maintenance Planning and/or Maintenance Execution processes

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or higher, from an accredited university.
  • Knowledge of plant process – safety, integrity and maintenance processes
  • Ability to manage activity within defined scope and budget
  • Ability to coordinate a multi-discipline team
  • Good computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point & SAP.
  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate large volumes of work concurrently
  • Excellent knowledge of trade and/or discipline areas - ability to provide guidance, expertise to others
