Job Description

Do you have a proven track record of corporate simplification experience within a boutique or larger professional services firm?  

As a senior member in our restructuring advisory team this role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a range of corporate simplification engagements designing innovative and commercial solutions and working in conjunction with a variety of external stakeholders including business owners, investors, shareholders and directors in a diverse range of industries. 

Working closely with the firm’s partners and senior management team who are industry leaders within their field, key areas of involvement will include:

  • Manage the planning, running and control of members voluntary liquidations and creditors voluntary liquidation from beginning to end
  • Provide clear information to all stakeholders involved in the project
  • Ability to liaise with referrers of work both internally and externally including Partners, solicitors, directors and shareholders
  • Experience in managing, coaching and reviewing work of junior staff
  • Develop key contacts within the industry to develop your own reputation in addition to the brand name and professional offering of Grant Thornton

You’ll be proactive, have solid problem solving skills, a good attention to detail and ability to work independently. This role will suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • CA or CPA qualifications
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Developed strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • An ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
  • Have developed excellent client relationship skills
  • Be MYOB proficient but not essential
  • Members Voluntary /Corporate Simplification experience preferred but not essential
