About the role
Based out of the office in Forrest ACT and reporting to the Senior facilities Manager – Facilities Manager , this role will involve delivering facilities management services to nominated entities and undertaking annual inspections, developing relationships and preparing data to contribute to the annual property plans.
Key responsibilities: ( But not limited to )
Effectively manage the site to ensure building owner and tenant business requirements are met (where possible) and prioritised appropriately
Ensure tenants act in accordance with predetermined building rules, MOU’s and general industry standards and avoid building owner exposure to contractual and regulatory issues.
Review Building Owner Approvals (BOAs) and provide advice (where necessary) and inspect works
Take immediate action to resolve compliance issues (where possible) and report any unresolved compliance matters for resolution
Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, as building owner, tenant, contractors and project managers
Provide advice to Finance and other stakeholders as requested
Identify opportunities to improve building efficiency by providing cost and effort saving initiatives through proactive management of the site
Under-take walkthrough, monitor base building conditions, identify excursions, outages and report to Senior FM and client
Ensure prompt and effective communication with the tenant(s) in the building
Skills & Experience:
With a keen desire to develop your career within the property industry; you will be a Team Player with strong attention to detail; the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work unsupervised.
Worked in the property industry
Enjoy working with people and can build positive relationships
Minimum 2 years' proven experience in a similar role within a Property or Facilities Management environment
High level organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAbility to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
Proficient in desktop applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
