CHOICE is looking to hire an experienced Campaigner to help us protect the interests of Australian consumers through engaging, high-impact digital campaigns and political communications.

  • Three or more years working on advocacy or policy campaigns
  • Creative thinker who is comfortable taking risks and adapting on the fly
  • A natural influencer and communicator
  • Excited about campaign craft and people-powered movements.

What sets you apart is your experience with political liaison and communications as you can bring additional capability to the team in drafting communications to parliamentarians, law makers and civil servants.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Supporter Engagement you will work closely with the Campaigns and Communications team and support all our campaigns at pivotal strategic points in time, developing and executing effective tactics to win these campaigns alongside the campaign lead.

You will also be expected to run your own targeted, strategic, short-term campaigns on important, topical issues in order to deliver quick wins for consumers.  

  • Increase supporter participation in our campaigns.
  • Influence policy that benefit consumers through strategic campaigning
  • Provide supporters with frequent and meaningful ways to engage with CHOICE
  • Build and develop relationships with political stakeholders
