The Role
Broadspectrum currently has an opportunity for an experienced Regional Project Delivery manager to join our team on the Defence Base Services contract. The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of Defence based project works, undertake on base project management functionality inclusive of stakeholder and expectation management. This is a permanent fulltime role based at RAAF Edinburgh.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the on-site customer facing relationship and stakeholder management processes related to Project Delivery
  • Manage scope confirmation and agreement processes for each project
  • Work with the Project Controls Team to determine resource capability for delivery
  • Facilitate on-site Defence requirements including security, escort, access, egress, which may also include site visits of prospective tenderers
  • Manage local heritage, environmental and contamination issues
  • Assist in the development of project proposals for submission and approval
  • Oversee the delivery phase of work on base including the management of variation and safety practices
  • Maintain project delivery communication protocols
  • Ensure that Practical Completion and Hand Over and Take Over functions are completed in full.
  • Work with the Project Controls Team to manage the financial aspects and billing of projects
  • Manage scheduling and slippage within project delivery
  • Provide monthly reporting related to slippage in delivery and billing

Key Experience and Skills

  • Prior experience in Project Management role
  • Highly autonomous and outcome focused
  • Previous exposure to the Defence environment (preferred)
  • Well-developed understanding of Commercial Contract management and execution
  • Highly developed personnel management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
  • An ability to interact effectively with technical staff, subcontractors and Client representatives
