Here’s where you come in…

To support the growth of AustralianSuper and in particular, our Investments group, we are looking for a Solution Architect to join our business. 

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Planning you’ll partner with our Investment group to strategically support the architecture, design and oversee the implementation of solutions to support this growing business.

You’ll balance the strategic objectives against short-term technical imperatives and use your influencing skills and stakeholder management experience to do so.

You’ll have a number of projects on at one time ranging from data uplift to cloud migration and scaling our international presence. For each, your role will be to act as the CTO, to champion the project and be intermediary between the technology and the business.

You’ll need…

  • 10+ years Technology experience
  • 4+ years solution architecture experience
  • 2+ years solution architecture experience in financial investment / markets / trading oriented projects is mandatory
  • Experience working on projects as a solution architect in financial institutions is highly desirable.
  • Experience in delivering solution architectures whilst working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced, practical knowledge of application and infrastructure best practice and industry standards.
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Broad technical experience across solution architecture, application development and infrastructure gained in multiple diverse business domains.
  • Exposure to Enterprise Architecture including production of architecture models.
  • Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence upwards and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
