Here’s where you come in…

To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking Technology Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, delivery, deployment and handover of the technology components of projects. Reporting to the Delivery Services Manager - Technology Services, this role represents an outstanding opportunity to help to own the delivery of technology change and ensure that it meets business requirements and quality expectations. 

  • Owning the delivery of technology change and ensuring that it meets business requirements and quality expectations;
  • Act as the key contact point between the business project team and Technology Services;
  • Ensure optimal delivery of technology products and services;
  • Project manage technology implementation projects;
  • Assist in RFI/RFP, due diligence and risk assessments on vendor solutions;
  • Deliver projects in alignment with the AustralianSuper PMO Project Delivery Framework, relevant AustralianSuper standards, Technology Services standards and Solution Delivery team processes;
  • Contribute to process improvements in the Delivery Services team;
  • Assist in the roll out of agile practices across the portfolio and Technology Services.

You’ll need…

  • 10 years’ experience in Information Technology project and portfolio management, including applications and infrastructure experience;
  • Proven experience in delivery initiatives utilising both agile and/or waterfall approach;
  • Proven ability to contribute to strategic initiatives and a curious mindset to identify opportunities to continuously improve;
  • Strong stakeholder communication/presentation skills and ability to influence;
  • Experienced in operating in a hybrid (insourced & outsourced) operating environment with strong vendor management skills;
  • Experienced in managing offshore/offsite teams;
  • Experience in Financial Services, Investment Management and / or Superannuation areas.
