As the Children's Centre Cook you will deliver a nutritional menu to all children on a daily basis, incorporating all special dietary requirements and cultural needs, to promote healthy living and provide a warm and caring environment that enriches and enhances the children's lives and compliments their families’ beliefs.
To be successful in this role you will have previous similar experience, a Certificate in Food Safety and Menu Planning, First Aid Certificate, Drivers Licence and a reliable vehicle. A certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is desirable.

Salary : Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award. This position is placed in Grade 5 of Cumberland salary structure with a salary range of $27.38 to $31.48 per hour plus superannuation. Commencement salary will depend upon qualifications, experience and competencies.
Conditions of Employment : This is a permanent part time position working 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day rostered between 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday. You may be required to work across any of the 17 children's services centers in the Cumberland Local Government Area. You may also be required to attend training, educator events and staff meetings outside of your normal working hours.
