Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager Workers Compensation the primary purpose of this position is to oversee the pre-employment medical health program, review health and medical data, identify trends, develop sound working relationships with all stakeholders, including management of health and medical standards and develop and implement processes and procedures to support a tailored approach to health & wellbeing.

 

The person we are looking for will have:

 

Key Experiences & Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of medical requirements to meet demands of operational roles
  • Experience in implementation and delivery of health and wellbeing programs
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, and the ability to communicate and consult with all levels of staff and with external providers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to meet reporting requirements
  • Proven analytical skills and a flexible approach to problem solving


Key Deliverables:

  • Set medical standards and ensure applicants are fit prior to employment
  • Implement a tailored health and wellbeing program
  • Develop accurate reports with clear analysis
  • Process improvement and efficiencies
  • Sound working relationships with all stakeholders and providers
