We currently have a new opportunity for a Transport & Mail Coordinator in a permanent and ongoing position. Based at our Anglesea Barracks defence site, this role will assist with the provision of effective and efficient delivery of the transport and mail service across the entire base. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Managing the Defence Fleet of Vehicles and deliver the Transport services in accordance with the contract. Issuing and receipt self-drive Defence vehicles Allocating tasks for scheduled and non-scheduled tasking. Ensure technical inspections are completed for vehicles as required. Perform monthly non-technical inspections as required on any vehicles maintained at the Site utilised in the service. Assist with all Department of Defence and internal paperwork and reports as required. Maintain accurate information on all tasking boards and computer systems where applicable. Liaise with and coordinate Defence repair subcontractors to achieve vehicle availability. Special requirement: You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Department of Defence Security Clearance Key Experience and Skills: Proficient in the use of Windows systems and applications Excellent communication and problem-solving skills An ability to work flexibly and adaptively within a small team The successful candidate will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary, as well as the opportunity to work on a dynamic and thriving contract.
