Broadspectrum and Suez, have teamed together as Allwater - an internationally experienced team that combines operating and technical excellence on a global scale within the Water and Wastewater Industry. Together with our Alliance partner SA Water, Allwater is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater networks and associated assets throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area. Allwater is currently seeking an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to lead and deliver training programs with a focus on advancing safe work behaviours, and maximising accountability and engagement across a corporate and field workforce. This is a permanent fulltime role based in the CBD office with sites located around the metropolitan area. You will enjoy the variety in working from the various sites as you engage with the workforce. This role will make a positive impact through partnering with Operational Managers, frontline workforce and our Client stakeholders to drive change, influence culture and bring about a behavioral safety focus. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: Assist and support the Health & Safety Manager in workforce consultation with regard to the development and implementation of WHS systems and training packages in accordance to relevant WHS legislation and recognised industry standards Continuous review and development of training needs analysis Design, develop and execute the Learning and Development Strategic Plan for Allwater Review, develop and deliver training packages for externally accredited ticketed high risk activities (ie Confined Space, Working at Heights, specific plant and equipment) Drive and influence cultural shift from compliance to behavioral based safety practices Support the development of Health & Safety representatives in WHS activities Skills & Experience Experience in the development of Training Needs Analysis and strategic planning Minimum Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent) Qualified trainer (Minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) In depth knowledge and practical understanding of adult learning principles and behavior based training Demonstrated experience in delivery and development of accredited training If you are the successful candidate you will possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, be adept in fostering positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior training role and a range of experience to draw upon, having worked in WHS and complex operating environments with a field/trade background; ideally in Utilities sector. You need to demonstrate a track record of successful leadership in the engagement, development and delivery of learning and development strategic objectives. You will enjoy being part of the People Safety & Culture team but work autonomously with a strong customer service attitude, be professional and engage equally comfortably across worksites and in corporate environments. You will bring creative and innovative thinking to learning and development initiatives and be personally driven to achieve outcomes.
